The Story of Majestic Moon

Majestic Moon was only a thought at the start of March 2017.
​
After discovering a love for home fragrance products we decided to start researching how to make them for ourselves, and started testing different waxes and fragrances. Our first products were wax melts and they continue to be our biggest and main seller. We started with just 8 different scents, Most of which are still available to this day.
Starting small but armed with pure excitement and passion we set up in our kitchen at home in the West Midlands with 2 glass jugs and a pan of boiling water! We began selling from a Facebook shop to friends and family while working a full time job.

Our very first wax melts were sold in July 2017, after months of research and testing different waxes it was an amazing feeling when we got our first sale!

By the end of 2017 we were regularly selling out of stock and needed to think of ways in which we could produce more wax melts in the same amount of time so we invested in a wax melter. This was a game changer and we could now melt 10 litres of wax at a time instead of 500g in our glass jugs!

Still working a full time job and as sales increased we needed a better way of managing stock and decided to create a website. By this point we now had 2 wax melters and over 100 different scents on our scent list.

In 2019 it was time to think about expansion, we outgrew the kitchen and a purpose built workshop was constructed at the top of the garden with another built for storage of ready to go stock.

In 2020 we trademarked our business name.
​
Despite rapid growth in 2021, we still work full time jobs and every product is still made, wrapped, labelled and packed by hand by our small team in Wolverhampton, using our own unique blend of wax, table top melters and tools you would probably find in most commercial kitchens.
​
In 2022 we continued to provide highly scented home fragrance products at an affordable price, our mission is to always provide products that do not lack in quality but does not break the bank as we think that everyone should be able to afford a beautiful smelling home. 2022 was not without it's challenges, between covid and the cost of living crisis we struggled but loving what we do we were committed to keep bringing our customers the products that they love.
